Charities such Jigsaw4u rely on the donations and good will of both individuals and companies. Only with continued contributions can we continue making a positive difference to the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
You can give regularly to sponsor children and young people to fund groups or alternatively for activities and events. We struggle each year to continue funding these valuable services. You may not be able to give us time, but you may have a few spare pounds at the end of each month that would make a BIG difference to the children and young people of Jigsaw4u.
There are different ways to give, from one-off donations, to Gift Aid, to joining Jigsaw4u as a member. No matter how much you give, you can be sure that it is being put to good use.
- £10 - will purchase the salt for 100 bereaved children to create a 'salt jar' in memory of their loved one
- £10 - will pay for the refreshments for a young peoples group
- £10 - will cover the cost of the achievement certificates for 50 children and young people
- £15 - will pay for the paint for 50 children to use to express themselves in groups
- £30 - will cover the cost of the memory boxes for 100 children on the grief support groups
- £30 - will pay for an activity with an advocate meeting with a looked after or disabled young person
- £40 - will cover the cost of the candles for the 'candlelight ceremony' at the family weekend
- £40 - will enable 8 young people to participate in a consultation
- £50 - will cover the cost of the balloons and gas for the 'balloon release' at the family weekend
- £50 - will pay to translate documents into a child's first language or into symbols, Braille etc for a disabled child
- £70 - will pay a sessional worker for 3 hours 1:1 work with a disabled child
- £100 - will cover the cost of a peer support group
- £150-200 - will pay for the 15 teddy bears that each child receives at the 'closing ceremony' of the family weekend
- £500 - will pay for an eleven evenings of training for volunteers
- £1000 - will pay for one issue of a magazine - young peoples involvement, design, production and circulation OR a conference OR a support a bereaved family to attend the grief support programme.
Jigsaw4u members play a crucial role in the continued survival of the organisation and the achievement of our mission and goals. Membership fees help us to fund our services, while members provide an important voice in the running of Jigsaw4u. Individual Membership has many benefits:
- Voting rights
- Consultation on key decisions for the Jigsaw4u
- Email updates of news, views e-magazines (My Shout and Our Lives) and useful resources
- Regular profiles of members (it could be you!)
- Paper version of Jigsaw4u publications by post - that's My Shout, Our Lives and many more publications 3 times a year!
- Concessions on the costs of training provided by Jigsaw4u Training & Consultancy.
The cost of membership is just Ј30 a year.
To become a member, simply complete and return the Membership application form, including payment instructions.
Making a one-off donation is also a great way to make a difference. No matter how small, every donation helps us.

Corporate sponsors get the chance to sponsor an event or activity. For example, a conference or a grief support weekend.
As well as recognition and publicity through the event or activity a company sponsors, corporate sponsors receive recognition in our publications, Jigsaw4u website and other events.
Corporate sponsors donating more than £10, 000 will have an award named after them.
Jigsaw4u operates 4 levels of corporate sponsors:
- Standard sponsorship - £500
- Bronze sponsorship - £1000
- Silver sponsorship - £2000
- Gold sponsorship - £5000
- Premier sponsorship - donation over £5000
