Jigsaw4u broadens its grief support services for children and young people

Jigsaw4u will be opening a base in Epsom later this year to broaden its grief support services for children and young people in Surrey. Surrey Council's Children's Services have made space available to the charity at the Riverview Centre in Epsom, where a Grief Support Worker will be based.
Carol Bason, Head of Service South East England, says "We aim to offer grief support to children, young people and their carers by way of groups to be run in the Epsom/Leatherhead area. We will accept referrals from professionals working with children, or direct from families and will visit the family and - if appropriate - liaise with schools to support teaching staff."
We will also be holding a launch day and regular training sessions to local professionals working with children.
