Jigsaw4u's Short Story Competition draws to a close

Published on JULY 26, 2010

The tale has been told, the quill laid aside. The Jigsaw4u short stories competition has closed for entries - now it's time for the judges to decide.

Over the last few weeks the stories have been read and shortlisted and now it's time for judges, Michael Rosen (Children's Laureate 2007-2009), actor Jake Hendriks (best known as Kieron Hobbs in Hollyoaks), Merilyn Harris (a former BBC radio producer) and Anne Davies (CEO of Jigsaw4u) to meet in order to discuss the entries and decide upon one winner and one runner up from each age category. In the next few weeks you'll be hearing from the team here at Jigsaw4u to find out who has won the coveted prize of a trip to London and tea with Michael Rosen and Jake Hendriks.

Mostly, we want to say a huge thank you to all of you who entered. The quality of the stories was exceptional and it looks like it's going to be an incredibly difficult decision to choose the winners. So good luck to all of you who entered and please keep on writing.
