Announcing the winners of the Jigsaw4u Short Story Competition 2010...
Jigsaw4u is delighted to announce the winners of our first short story competition.
- Rose Elizabeth Burden (5-8 years age group)
- Sam Pickering (9-13 years age group)
- Megan Penney (14-18 years age group)
The three winners have been invited to Portcullis House on the 24th September to attend a prize-giving and meet two of the judges.
However, there are four more stories which really stood out and have been awarded the position of runner up:
- Sophia Braithwaite (5-8 years age group)
- Nikolai Gibbins (5-8 years age group)
- Emily Allchin (9-13 years age group)
- Sam Russell (14-18 years age group)
Both the winners and the runners up will have their short stories printed in our new anthology, Loss: Short Stories by Children and Young People. Copies will be available for sale through Jigsaw4u.
Thank you to everyone who entered our short story competition. To those who didn't win better luck next time. Every entry we received was unique and interesting.
