Chris Roe wins Merton Employee of the Year 2010
Congratulations to Chris Roe (pictured right) who was recently awarded Merton Employee of the Year 2010 for the Third Sector. Judges wrote "Chris Roe has always been a champion for vulnerable children and young people. She has an ability to shape this passion into highly effective projects and interventions to support those in most need".
Chris, former Head of Service for Jigsaw4u South-West London, had been nominated by the Children's Services senior management team in Merton. Chris and her husband David sat with the management team and the Mayor and her consort at dinner - nice venue Hilton hotel in Croydon (on the site of the old aerodrome).
