John Glendinning and Natalie White raise £4,710 in aid of Jigsaw4u
In June 2010, John Glendinning and Natalie White ran in South Africa's Big Five Marathon at Entebeni Game Reserve on behalf of Jigsaw4u. The 26 mile 385 yard race took place in one of the most spectacular games reserves in the Waterberg region of South Africa close to the Botswana border.
John and Natalie finished the course in 5 hours 54 minutes, finishing 49th and 50th out of a field of 69 starters, and raised a total of £4,710.88.
John said: The surroundings were spectacular, but the course was very tough, with the 8km on powdery soft sand and the last 5km on loose boulder strewn rocks being particularly gruelling and memorable!
