Inspirational Women 2011 Winner

Jigsaw4u would like to say congratulations to Ms Carly Ward, winner of our Inspirational Women in Business 2011 Award

This year's nominees were an eclectic mix of wonderful and interesting women. From Chief Executives to teachers, from life coaches to recycling managers, there were many women that could be described as "Inspirational".

Our winner, Carly, really shone out, not only for being an Inspirational Woman, but being an Inspirational Young Person. At 21, Carly has founded her own business and is becoming a role model for young people across the country. We at Jigsaw4u like nothing better than celebrating amazing young people, which is why we are delighted to have Carly as our winner.

Nominated by her mother and co-founder, Penny, Carly started the Young Entrepreneur Society, a group which has put together a 12-step program to enable other young people to start their own business. By interviewing a number of CEOs and linking young people and mentors, Carly has provided the tools young people need when entering the business world. Our judges were as inspired by her dedication, hard work and heart to help others.

Jigsaw4u was also thrilled that Carly has agreed to become a young ambassador for us and we look forward to working with her.

We would also like to say a massive thank you to the other people who entered. There were a number of nominees who were shortlisted and come highly recommended by our Inspirational Judges:

  • Maureen Fazal
  • Jill Appleton
  • Lucy McGibbon
  • Melanie Bryan
  • Mia Harris
  • Katherine Scott
  • Surita Meyer

These women will be invited to join the Jigsaw4u Inspirational Women's Forum, where we hope they will come together to help to create new opportunities to find sponsorships and partnerships that will enable Jigsaw4u to continue supporting children and young people throughout the country.
