Hever Castle Triathlon
Jigsaw4u is proud to announce that it will be supporting entrants in a triathlon, courtesy of The Castle Series, at Hever Castle on the weekend of the 24th and 25th September 2011, and the offical charity for the Children's races on Saturday.
All triathletes start with an open water swim in the spectacular 38 acre Hever Castle Lake, transitioning into the cycle which will take place around a 20km circuit through the High Weald of Kent an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with one lap for the Sprint and two laps for the Olympic distance. The run circumnavigates the estate and award winning castle grounds before making the dash to the finish beside the lake.
Junior and Children's races take place within the Castle grounds and swim in the same water source/lake as adults. The cycle course is technical and the run takes in the castle gardens and monuments. The races are not only exciting, but are marshalled and timed as professionally as the Sprint, Mid-Distance and Olympic races. These races are designed for the ‘real’ experience with as much fun as the adult course. Please note that the children will remain on the estate throughout the whole race and will need mountain bikes to navigate the off road course.
