Head of Service, SW London Regional Office (Full-time)

£35,500 to £37,000 plus car allowance and outer London weighting.
Pension scheme available.

Jigsaw4u supports children and young people through grief, loss and trauma and enables them to have a voice in decision making about their own lives and the development of policy and practice within Jigsaw4u locally, nationally and internationally.

We have three regional offices in SE England, SW London and NW England who work together to provide support to children and young people who have experienced grief, loss and trauma. Services within the SW London Office include:

  • - Advocacy and befriending
  • - Grief support for families where a child or adult has died as a result of accident, illness, suicide or murder
  • - Home-school projects bringing families and schools together to promote a pupil’s full potential
  • - Participation – child-led projects providing consultation, fun and change

The Head of Service will provide professional management of the SW regional office and overall responsibility for the standards of practice and service development locally and nationally Jigsaw4u is an established organisation. You will need a professional qualification, a minimum of 3 years experience of direct work with children and their families in complex and challenging situations and experience of management.
