Richard Whitehead MBE

Jigsaw4u’s Ambassador for Disability, Richard Whitehead MBE, is an athlete who runs with prosthetic legs following a double through-knee congenital amputation.  Richard won gold medals at the Paralympic Games in London 2012 and Rio 2016.  He is the 200m T42 world record holder, and previously held the marathon world record for athletes with lower-limb amputations.

Richard says: “I am proud to announce that I am an ambassador for Jigsaw4u, helping children and young people put the pieces back together.  It is a great honour and a privilege for somebody like myself to support those that need a little bit of support and guidance.”
