Jigsaw4u’s most popular training courses:
Grief and Loss
Children can be forgotten when someone dies in the family. Adults can find it difficult to know what to say to children and how much to involve them in the process. Jigsaw4u have been working in this area for nearly 20 years and are particularly skilled at ensuring children’s voices are heard after a loss or bereavement.
This training session will help participants to understand the effects of grief of loss, how to support someone who has experienced a bereavement and specifically looking at how to understand the effect of bereavement on children.

Missing Young People, Return Home Interviews and Sexual Exploitation
Return Home Interviews (RHI) are carried out by an independent agency when a young person goes missing, to find out why they went missing, if they came to any harm, and to identify what work needs to be done to stop them from going missing again.
This training session will help participants to understand what Return Home Interviews (RHI) are, how to support young people through this process and how to engage with children and young people who go missing
Child sexual exploitation (CSE) is a type of sexual abuse in which children and young people are sexually exploited for money, power or status.
This training session will help participants to understand what Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) is, how to engage with children who are being exploited and how to support children and young people leaving harmful relationships.

Play, Engage and Communicate with Children
It can be difficult for professionals to talk to children, particularly about sensitive issues. Often, using play and other resources can put the child and adult at ease and facilitate a really informative and therapeutic session.
This training session will teach participants a variety of techniques and tools to use when working directly with children.
