Jigsaw4u Specialist Support Practitioner (Full-Time)

Jigsaw4u are recruiting a Specialist Support Practitioner to provide therapeutic interventions for young people who have experienced loss and trauma.

This is a dual role supporting two Jigsaw4u services: Bereavement & Loss and Young Victims of Crime.  You will be based at the Jigsaw4u office, but provide direct work with young people on an outreach basis.  You will ensure our service users receive professional psychological support to overcome difficult life circumstances and reach their potential.

The successful candidate will have a background in direct work, a qualification in counselling (or equivalent) and the ability to engage young people with complex social and emotional needs.  You will be experienced in multi-agency working, reporting and the issues and challenges which young people face.  You will be flexible and passionate about achieving the best outcomes for vulnerable young people.
